Scenarios

Four patterns in one example account

For each scenario you see the view of the app that shows you the pattern.

Scenario 1 · Revenge trade

09:46, 5 minutes after the loss.

The situationThe first trade of the day ends with a loss of CHF -120. 5 minutes later the trader enters again, at 2× size. Result: CHF -150.

What the app showsThe app marks two rule breaks: pause after a loss not kept, size increased after a loss. It traces the sequence: trigger, thought, action, outcome. The mirror first shows the losses after which he kept his size, then the cases where the next trade was larger. His questionnaire answer (“rarely”) sits alongside as an extra line; he had rated it as rather less frequent. In the same card the app suggests setting a plan for this moment.

  • After 25 losses he kept his usual size 13 times
  • In 12 of 25 cases the next trade was larger
  • For comparison after wins: larger in 4 of 23 cases
  • Measured over the last 90 days
